Well after a long year and a half of learning to program and 3-4 months of grinding on final year work for university. I've decided I'm going to have more fun and take more risks this year, I'm more contempt with where my skills are at than I've been for a long time and the last 7 years have all had many long hours of practice and training. I've spent over 400 hours on and released two game mods for one of my favorite pc games Warcraft 3 and learn't a awful lot from programming a lot of game frameworks in Unity3D and Unreal 3.

Been a massive challenge, taking on both learning to program properly and keep up with my art, sure it's taken time away from my drawing and painting hours but so has 3d modelling and it's all coming back together after 8 months to make me a better artist. I assure everyone reading that although my Deviantart/online presence may have appeared dry at times i haven't stopped. Either NDA'd work or just too busy to scan and upload things mixed up with never being satisfied with work, has killed what left of a small online presence I had. I think I'm gonna just carry on uploading as much as i can despite the amount of views maybe one will spark off some interest and they'll get views somewhere down the road.

Just thought I'd stop and take the time out to thank those of your who are still watching on and off.

So I'm using blogspot now, doubt I'll be updating this journal for a long time, so I figure I'd write and entry with the link.

Well i've finally pushed myself away from playing the m13 game on steam xD about half way through the campaign mode. First time i've got sucked into a game for awhile. Half way only 9 more hours to go haha?.. maybe not i wish it was easier to create modify decks on it though playing so tight to prebuilts is pretty boring at times.

By the time i have acceptance and a better understanding of main game industry I'll not have a single care enough to work in it. That's ok I've come to realization that i don't have to accept their ways I've committed so much of myself to my practice and purpose on my own now. I don't need to go into it to make game development a career so i probably won't.
